CRUCIAL CREW

The dates of the Crucial Crew for Cynon Valley schools this year is

13^th to 17^th June & 19^th to 22^nd June 2011

Crucial Crewis a community safety initiative engaging with approximately 800 children within the Cynon Valley area on an annual basis. The programme aims to develop the knowledge of each individual participant on issues associated to personal safety. This includes input from numerous agencies including South Wales Police, South Wales Fire Service, Trading Standards, Road Safety, The Forestry Commission, The Red Cross and the local environmental health team. The event occurs during June of each year and the children are taken to the purpose built Safety Zone to participate in a round robin of presentations from the respective agencies through a practical activity approach.
