Car Crime Roadshows
The Association organises Car Crime Roadshows, which are a free Crime security check on vehicles and includes the security etching of vehicle windows. The Roadshows are a very important part of our project work in our efforts to reduce Car crime, which accounts for over 50% of all crime reported in the Cynon Valley.

Pupils Understanding Problems In their Locality
The £4 million PUPIL project (Pupils Understanding Problems In their Locality), led by the Cynon Valley Crime Prevention Association, will provide extra support for over 2,000 youngsters affected by issues such as bullying, substance misuse and anti-social behaviour in order to develop their skills and prepare them for the workplace. It is operational throughout the 6 Unitary Authorities of Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taff and Torfaen and targets children in Comprehensive Schools, Pupil Referral Units and Special Schools. The scheme has the support of each unitary authority and both South Wales and Gwent Police.
