Background information

Due to the success of the PUPIL Scheme within Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales Police issued a request for the Scheme to be extended across the force area

This request was reiterated by Heddlu Gwent Police and supported by the six unitary authorities of Caerphilly, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, and Torfaen

ESF Convergence funding was subsequently achieved.

The PUPIL Scheme is a youth scheme designed by CVCPA to promote community involvement, community safety and crime prevention within the secondary education system.

PUPIL is an acronym for:
